I’m laying stomach down on the bottom bunk of a busy backpackers in the middle of Sydney after a marathon day cutting clips and trying to record my voice over the screaming city and sirens out the window. It’s 11:30 pm on a Saturday night and I’ve just finished uploading my final video from The Maldives. The video runs through a few of the many things I learnt about underwater videography and takes you through a few of my most memorable underwater experiences. I want to send out a huge thanks to my video coaches Darren & Swen but also the whole friendly team at Prodivers Maldives for a fantastic experience.
My next adventure begins at 5am when I meet up with Christophe, the head of operations of the Catlin Seaview Survey to take a ridiculous amount of equipment to the airport for our flight to Bermuda where we will be continuing Google Street View’s mission to map out the ocean. I’m really looking forward to sharing this exciting experience with more video’s and updates to come so stay tuned.
