What the Our World-Underwater Scholarship Society means to me?

Ever since I heard of this scholarship at the start of last year it has seemed like such an incredible opportunity. Now that dream has become a reality, I can finally think about what it means to me.

This experience based scholarship will undoubtedly be very valuable to me and my future directions. I have always known that the ocean will be a major part of my life and growing up I have always worked towards that goal. But to be awarded the scholarship is such a head start, especially at this time in my life.

So throughout this year I will do my best to make the most out of it, chasing my dreams and meeting role models, this will ultimately be an unforgettable year. The kindness of the scholarship family has already started to show and the support from sponsors is overwhelming. I have lots to uphold but I am ready, bring it on!
